The Madison Unicyclists offer unicycling camps each summer. These camps offer all levels of riders, beginner through advanced, a chance to continue unicycling instruction during the summer in a playful, supportive environment.
Camp registration for 2023 is now open!
Open Camp: June 12th – 16th, 9am-12pm
Advanced Camp: June 19th – 23th, 9am-3pm
Both weeks of camp will be held at the St. Bernard’s Parish Center Gym on Atwood Avenue. Time/location subject to change.
Open Camp is for new and continuing unicyclists who would like to unicycle in the summer and work on their skills with support from advanced riders. This camp offers a mixture of self-directed riding time as well as skill workshops and unicycle games. Riders at this camp must have passed Level 1.
Advanced Camp offers a chance for more experienced unicyclists to focus on a variety of aspects of unicycling including freestyle skills, long distance and trail riding, as well as unicycle games. Riders at this camp must have passed Level 3.
Information about unicycle skill levels can be found here. MadUni has many certified testers so riders are encouraged to come to a MadUni Community Practice if they would like to attempt to pass a level in order to be able to register for unicycle camp.
All campers must be a member of either the Madison Unicyclists or the Unicycling Society of America to attend camp.
